About Venture Center
Venture Center is India’s award winning, leading technology business incubator for science and technology startups. We offer a full suite of programs, services, resources and facilities to support our entrepreneurs.
Although we specialize in supporting early-stage startups, we work with businesses at all stages, helping both startups and established companies develop and grow.
Venture Center (registered trademark) was founded in 2007 as an initiative of CSIR’s National Chemical Laboratory. Venture Center was incorporated as “Entrepreneurship Development Center” under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 (now Section 8 under the Companies Act, 2013).
Venture Center is an approved incubator of the National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India (DST-NSTEDB).

What We Offer
Creating a science-based startup is a challenging and long journey. In particular, the first steps can be crucial in ensuring that a young company is on the right path towards success. Venture Center provides early-stage entrepreneurs with access to world-class knowledge and resources that they need to grow their businesses and create impact. The rich technology innovation ecosystem at Venture Center includes infrastructural facilities such as laboratory spaces and specialized scientific facilities, unique resource centers such as a technology transfer hub, a regulatory information facilitation center, an ISO-certified medtech clean room. We also offer ample funding, internal mentoring capabilities, as well as giving entrepreneurs access to our 250+ strong network of mentors and subject matter experts.

Our Startups
Venture Center has supported 650+ entrepreneurs till date, with over 70+ resident incubatees physically incubated within the NCL innovation park.
Our startups are working on path breaking, first-of-its-kind technology innovations, and we are thrilled to be backing some of the most promising innovations and startups of the future.
Over 50% of our startups are working on health technologies, 16% startups are working on clean tech, environment, and sustainability solutions, with 14% of our startups working in the agriculture sector.
Over 75 of our startup products and services have already been launched and are in the market.
